If you want to use more diverse button names in your poll, Microsoft Outlook provides a more flexible option. Here’s how to create a custom button name for your poll:
Step 1: Launch Microsoft Outlook on our computer by typing Outlook in the search box after clicking the Start button.
Step 2: Click Home and then select New Email to compose your poll question.
Step 3: On the new message window, click Options.
Step 4: Select Use voting button.
Step 5: From the options listed, select Custom to launch the Properties dialog box.
Step 6: In the group named Voting and Tracking Options, tick the Use voting buttons check box.
Step 7: Remove the default button name next to the Use voting button field and enter your preferred name.
Note: When entering your custom button names, make sure you separate each name with a semicolon (;).
Step 8: Click Close to close the Properties dialog box.
Step 9: Compose your email in the message box and send.
Track and export voting results
After submitting the poll, you will definitely get a response. If you have multiple recipients, you don’t need to wait for individual messages to see their responses. Microsoft Outlook provides a follow button that records votes.
The tracker can also be exported to a data analysis tool or printed. Here is how to do so.
Step 1: On Outlook, check the Sent Items box.
Step 2: Select the original message containing the vote buttons.
Step 3: Open this message and go to the Messages tab.
Step 4: Click Follow inside the Display group to see the individuals who have responded and their Feedback.
Note: The Follow option won’t appear until someone replies with a vote.
Step 5: Select the voting answers by pressing the keyboard shortcut CTRL + A. Copy them with the keyboard shortcut CTRL + C and paste in any data analysis tool to analyze the results.

Creating a poll on Microsoft Outlook using the voting buttons is quite simple. However, this method has the disadvantage that only one poll can be used per email. So if you want to send multiple questions, you may have to send multiple emails.
