In order to change stance in Lords of the Fallen, you just need to press Triangle / Y on your gamepad, or ‘1’ on keyboard. It’s pretty simple to do, but with so many different buttons and mechanics, you will absolutely be juggling to keep on top of your enemies.
Personally, I would suggest opting for the single-handed stance when perusing the world in order to have more speed against multiple enemies – although it can depend on the weapon you’re using. A sweeping move will always be useful against hordes. When fighting bosses, though, going for a two-handed stance will help you make sure you’re dealing maximum damage where it counts.
