How to cancel enemy ultras
You simply need to kill the enemy that activates the ultra to cancel it and send them back to the respawn point. There’s no special trick, but it is easier said than done.

There is no way to track ultimate progress on the enemy team, so it’s all about being at the right place at the right time to watch their animation when it activates. If you can catch an enemy unaware during this, you should easily be able to take them down before they can respond.
As you play more, you’ll also likely get used to the certain audio barks and animations that signal an ultimate is incoming.
