How to block someone on Instagram?
Blocking someone on Instagram is simple and easy. You can stop spammers and scammers with these three easy steps.
- Start your Instagram app and go to the annoying user’s profile.
- Tap the ‘three dots’ menu in the top right corner of the screen.
- A menu will appear, select ‘Block’ and confirm.
The intended profile will be blocked and will no longer be able to disturb you.
So what happens when you block someone on Instagram?
- They won’t be able to see your photos or videos
- They won’t be able to find you on Instagram
- You unfollow them, but their comments or likes won’t disappear from your posts. You can manually delete their comments.
- They can still mention you in comments, but that won’t appear in your Activity.
- The person you block will not be notified of the same.
How to unblock someone on Instagram?
Have you accidentally blocked your friends or family members on Instagram? Too bad, but there’s an easy fix.
Just go to the blocked profile and you’ll see ‘Unblock’ where there’s usually a ‘Following’ or ‘Following’ tab.
