1. Using Layout
The Layout Tool lets you choose from several different collage styles. Besides, it is easy and simple to use. The good thing is that you can post photos instantly or choose photos from your phone gallery.
Step 1: Swipe right on your Instagram homepage to open Story. Click on the small arrow on the left, as shown below.
Step 2: Select Layout from the list and tap on Change Grid option. Select the grid of your choice.
All you need to do is click on the photo. Alternatively, you can tap the Photos icon in the lower left corner to select a photo from your phone’s gallery.
Once done, just tap the Bookmark button in the middle. That’s it.
Add all the necessary stickers and details, and the photo is ready to share with your followers.
2. Use photo stickers
But if you ask me, the Layout grid can be a bit stiff. If you want a more ‘fun’ way to add more photos to Insta stories, then you can’t go wrong with the built-in Photo Stickers option. This allows you to add a series of photos in one go.
Step 1: Open Story and select a photo from the gallery. Alternatively, you can click a spot.
Step 2: Tap the Sticker icon at the top and scroll down until you see the Photo Sticker option.
Now all you need to do is select a photo from your phone gallery to add it to the story.
And it doesn’t end there. Tap the photos to turn them into lovely shapes. From stars to circles, you can experiment with several shapes.
In addition, you can also adjust the size and orientation of the photo. Just pinch to enlarge the photo.
Repeat the above steps to add as many photos as you want. Once done, finish it off by adding the appropriate stickers. Then tag and share.
How to add music to stories with multiple photos
Thankfully, Instagram doesn’t distinguish between normal stories and stories with collages.
Step 1: After you have added all the photos, touch the Sticker icon and select Music.
Step 2: Select a song from the available list or search.
Instagram automatically assigns the best part of a song. However, you can always look closely to find the part that interests you.
Tap the Font icon to change the style of the lyrics. However, just tap the little Cross icon if you don’t want to show the lyrics.
When everything is ready, press the Done button. Your story is now ready to be shared.
How to add multiple photos to an Instagram post
The feature to add multiple photos to Instagram Post is available. It is a simple process. Currently, you can add about 10 photos at a time.
Step 1: Click the Plus icon in the upper right corner to add a New Post. Next, tap the Resize icon on the left.
This will prevent non-square photos from being cropped automatically.
Step 2: Once done, tap the Multiple thumbnails icon on the right and select the photo you want to upload.
