How long is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?

Before jumping into Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you might want to know just how many hours you can expect to put into the story – especially as 2024 already looks like a great year for upcoming games.

A reinvention of the series after over ten years, The Lost Crown has plenty on offer to complete and discover, from different skins to collectables and trophies, so you’ll need to put in a decent amount of time to experience it all.

Time to beat Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

To get through the main story of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you’ll need to set aside roughly 20 hours.

Overall, I’d say this is on the longer side for a Metroidvania, and while it will vary slightly depending on how long it may take you to defeat a boss, that’s still a decent chunk of playtime for the 2.5D adventure.

If you compare The Lost Crown to previous games in the series it is by far the longest. The only one coming close is Warrior Within, which took just over 15 hours if you wanted to see everything on offer. The rest of the series can be completed in under that time if you just mainline them.

How long does a completionist run take?

If you’re a completionist and want to see absolutely everything on offer, though, then you’ll be looking more towards 30 hours at least – as there’s a healthy amount of collectables and side content like maps, Spirited Sand Jars, and Lost Warriors to sink your teeth into.
