Gabrielle Union siblings-American actress, Gabrielle Monique Union-Wade was born on October 29, 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska in the United States of America.

Union was born to Theresa Union and Sylvester E. Union. Her upbringing was Catholic. She was raised to be an independent lady who could stand on her own two feet, and she chose to follow that path.

After the family relocated to Pleasanton, California, where Union attended Foothill High School, her mother, according to Union, encouraged her to have a world perspective and took her to a gay pride parade when she was eight years old.

Union claims that when she was younger, her disposition was mean until her personal trainer A.J. Johnson questioned her about it at a party the two were attending.

Union began her acting career in the 1990s by making many appearances on sitcoms before securing supporting parts in the adolescent movies She’s All That and 10 Things I Hate About You in 1999.

She gained more notoriety the following year after being cast in the lead role in the teen movie Bring It On.

Union is renowned for her roles in the romantic comedies Think Like a Man (2012), Think Like a Man Too (2014), Daddy’s Little Girls (2007), Deliver Us from Eva (2001), and The Brothers (2001).

She also starred in the movies Bad Boys II (2003), Cradle 2 the Grave (2003), Neo Ned (2005), Cadillac Records (2008), Top Five (2014), and Breaking In (2018) in addition to the CBS medical drama series City of Angels (2000).

Along with her husband Dwyane Wade, she has been a vocal supporter of issues relating to women’s health, LGBTQ+ equality, and violence against women.
