Yet another season of Fortnite is coming to a close, meaning we’ll be ushering out the apocalypse theme in favour of something new for Chapter 5 Season 4.

Chapter 5 Season 4 release date & time
Chapter 5 Season 4 of Fortnite will likely release on August 16, the same day the current season will end.
Based on previous seasons, we expect there to be a bit of downtime as the new season is added, likely beginning around 9 am BST / 10 am CEST / 1 am PDT / 4 am EDT.
What to expect in Chapter 5 Season 4
The prevailing feeling for the next season is that it will be Marvel-themed, with the next big baddy of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Dr. Doom – playing a big part.

A leak of this year’s roadmap from April showed a picture with the character, and the current season has featured a mysterious hooded character called The Wanderer, who disappears when people get close.
Many fans have been speculating this is Doom for a while now, and datamined dialogue from Magneto (another Marvel villain) has him stating the following: “I can’t verify this Wanderer is who I think he is, but if it’s him… If he’s the one seizing that box’s powers… This place may be doomed.“
Other leaks have revealed an X-Men bundle is set to hit the in-game store, with Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Colossus, and Cyclops skins and items.
Megalo Don, the current villain of this season, may also play a role in ushering in the reign of Dr Doom as HYPEX revealed in a leak that as the season gets to the end, the Nitro Pipes POI will slowly expand.
We don’t know what this will result in exactly, but something deeper is clearly going on that we’ll just have to wait and see.
