Alan Wake 2 is nearly here, and as with all games from Remedy Entertainment, it’s well worth checking out the voice actors and character cast list. Remedy has always used a great selection of actors for the roles in their games and Alan Wake 2 is no different.
It’s been 13 years since we last saw Alan Wake in his own game, although there was a remaster in 2021. We also learned more about Alan Wake in the Control AWE expansion, which acts as a set-up for Alan Wake 2 and is well worth playing before the sequel releases soon.
Below, we’ve outlined the cast of Alan Wake 2, including some of the previous work the actors have done in their careers that you might recognize.

What are some of the Alan Wake 2 cast known for?
Ikka Villi – Alan Wake (likeness)

Finnish actor Ikka Villi has lent his likeness to Alan Wake since the character’s first appearance and has remained in the role since. Outside of this, he has also appeared in the TV shows Bordertown and Invisible Heroes.
Matthew Porretta – Alan Wake (voice)
This is actually the first time Matthew Porretta has lent his voice to the character of Alan Wake, although you might recognise him from the Max Payne games. Matthew Porretta has also appeared in plenty of TV shows over the years including Suits, White Collar, and Jessica Jones.
Melanie Liburd – Saga Anderson

Melanie Liburd is playing the other playable character in this game – an FBI Agent trying to figure out the mysteries of Bright Falls. Like the other actors in the cast she has plenty of TV credits too, including the recent HBO drama The Idol and a recurring role in This Is Us.
