Later that year (2022), she was announced as a contestant on the twentieth series of Strictly Come Dancing where she was partnered with Vito Coppola.
In 2023, East replaced Rylan as the co-host of the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two and co-hosts alongside Janette Manrara. In October 2023 East appeared as a celebrity sitter on Portrait Artist of the Year.
