Why is Ethan Klein banned from Twitter?
Ethan Klein has been banned on Twitter after impersonating Elon Musk.
Here’s the tweet that got him banned, “Even though Jeffery Epstein committed a terrible crime, I still miss him on nights like this for his warmth and comradeship. Rest in peace, old friend.”
He changed his name to “Elon Musk” without specifying that it was an imitation in addition to his name.

After the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk, he changed its Terms of Service.
The new Terms of Service will suspend any Twitter handlers that impersonate someone else without specifying “parody”.
Accounts that violate the policy are those that use a language that conflicts with the required profile language (e.g. Official).
Accounts that attempt to hide the required profile language through long account names or specialized fonts also violate policy.
Ethan responded to the ban by saying “Comedy is dead on Twitter” and “I’m glad it’s over. I can finally rest.”
