Christopher Walken was born on March 31, 1943, in Queens, New York City, United States of America.
Christopher had an interest in acting from a young age and started taking dance lessons as a child. He attended Professional Children’s School in Manhattan and later joined the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Christopher Walken began his career as a child actor, appearing in various television shows and commercials. The actor made his film debut in the 1956 movie, The Lion King.
He continued to work in the industry, and in 1969, he appeared in the off-Broadway play, The Silver Queen, which gained him recognition. He then appeared in the movie, Me and My Brother, which was directed by Robert Frank.
Christopher Walken has been recognized for his work in the industry and has won several awards and nominations. He has won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
