Carlos Vela Wife: Meet Saioa Cañibano

Carlos Vela wife-Mexican professional footballer, Carlos Alberto Vela Garrido was born on March 1, 1989.

Vela was born in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico to Enrique Vela and Nella Garrido. His father was a semi-pro football player who was forced to stop due to a ruptured ligament. Vela’s father signed him up for neighborhood football teams.

Ko Cha Wolis, which translates to “Kicking Round Ball” in Mayan, was Vela’s first club. According to Félix Alcalá, who was coaching him at the time, he gained a lot of knowledge and made tremendous growth and improvement there.

Vela played football and basketball at the same time in school, which generated numerous issues with his coaches. At the age of 12, Vela’s father forced him to choose a single sport to concentrate on, and he went with football.

Enrique Vela was frustrated that his son was not being recruited because he lived in Cancun. In 2001, José Luis Real of the youth system of C.D. Guadalajara dispatched scouts to Cancun, where Vela drew their attention.

As a brief trial session with unpaid expenses, Guadalajara invited him to a youth competition in Buenos Aires.

In 2003, Vela was seen at a regional match in Ciudad Victoria and offered contracts with Primera División teams there.

He eventually signed with Guadalajara in 2003 but was never selected for the team’s first team and was unable to make his career debut in Mexico.
