From September 2020 until January 2023, he held the positions of Deputy Chief Minister I, State Minister of Works for Sabah, Chairman of FELCRA Berhad from 2013 to 2018, and Deputy Chairman of the Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) from 2008 to 2018.
