Bookmarking all open tabs in your browser sometimes helps. Like, if you were researching on a topic and had several related tabs open. The next thing you want to do is collate the URLs in one place. Marking them individually would be a pain.
We’ve discussed ways to share links to all open browser tabs in the past, but if you just want to save the tabs for yourself, bookmarking them together is a better way.
Today I will discuss how to batch bookmark all open tabs in Firefox, Chrome, Opera and IE. But before we continue, I must tell you that all the tricks mentioned below have been tried and tested on the latest builds. If you don’t see the options I show in your browser, you may need to upgrade it to a higher version.
For Firefox and Chrome users
The steps are similar for both browsers.
To bookmark all open tabs at once, right-click any open tab and click Bookmark All Tabs. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+d for the same purpose.
You can now create new bookmark folders or add them to an existing folder from the list.
Click Add Bookmark when you’re done.
For Opera users
Open the bookmarks manager on Opera and the best way to do this is to press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+B and navigate to the folder where you want to add all opened links as bookmarks. If you want to create a new folder, you must create one.
Now right click on any empty space in bookmarks manager and select Bookmark All Open Pages to bookmark all links in bulk.
For Internet Explorer users
For Internet Explorer user bookmarks called favorites and to add all open links as bookmarks, first enable the menu bar in internet explorer by pressing the Alt button and clicking the favorites.
Click Add current tabs to favorites and select the folder where you want to add all the links.
So the next time you need to bulk bookmark all the open links on your default browser, you know what to do.
