Hot off the heels of one of my favourite titles this year, Jusant, DON’T NOD dropped another exciting game reveal during this year’s Game Awards – Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
Another narrative-driven experience that seems like it’ll be right up the street of those who love the Life is Strange series, there looks to be plenty of twists and turns – particularly as the first trailer showcases the characters in their younger years and as adults, too.
Set to arrive sometime in 2024, with a trailer to break down and a few little details already shared about the game, here’s all we know so far about Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
What is Lost Records: Bloom & Rage?
As we’ve run over briefly, according to the game’s official page on DON’T NOD’s site, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be a “brand-new story-driven journey through time from the creative minds behind Life is Strange.“

Interestingly, it seems that the story will flip-flop between different time periods, as we see one particular character, shown above, as both an adult and during their high-school years in 1995.
Adding to that, while these characters are friends during their time in high school, they end up going 27 years without contact – but why? Personally, I can’t wait to see how DON’T NOD crafts their story, as Life is Strange is one of the most memorable titles I’ve ever played.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage trailer
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage was showcased during 2023’s The Game Awards, and along with it came a reveal teaser. Other than the information we’ve already spoken about, the trailer definitely packs a punch in creating an intriguing narrative.
During the clip – which has just over a minute of runtime – we see Autumn, Kat, Nora, and Swann hanging out and playing music, and sitting on a dock by the waterfront, before we see them making their way through a wood at night.
We then get a clip of the group running through the wood, a burning forest and some characters trapped in a building caught in a blaze, before the group approaches the edge of a long drop that emanates a strange, purple glow.
There’s then a frame of one of the characters as an adult, asking “Why now?” before a voice off-screen adds, “Because we made a promise.”
Now if that’s not a brilliantly done reveal trailer, I don’t know what is.
What platforms will Lost Records: Bloom & Rage be on?
While a solid date has yet to be revealed, we do know that Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be available to play on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
