Variations of Pals explained

Battling an Alpha Pal in PalworldClick to enlarge

Palworld features a variety of special Pals that are worth discussing:

Alpha Pals

Alpha Pals are giant, boss-like Pals that stand out from the rest of their species. Many Pals have Alpha variants with titles to distinguish them from regular Pals.

Lucky Pals

Lucky Pals are like Shiny Pokemon. Lucky Pals are extremely rare, and you might only encounter a few throughout your entire playthrough of Palworld. These Pal variants are stronger than their common counterparts.

Bred Pals

While you can’t evolve Pals in Palworld, you can breed Pals of different species with one another! Bred Pals inherit the characteristics of their parents, resulting in a unique Pal.

That’s the complete list of all the Pals in Palworld. Additional Pals have been spotted in screenshots and trailers for Palworld, but for whatever reason, they aren’t in the Paldeck yet. Palworld is only in Early Access, so expect to come across even more Pals on the Palpagos Islands in the future!

Stay tuned to our Palworld homepage for more Palworld content. If you’re struggling to catch your favourite Pals, consider changing the difficulty settings or inviting a few friends!
