If you prefer to use the traditional MS Paint application, you can use it to add arrows and text to photos on your Windows PC. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Launch MS Paint on your computer.
Step 2: Click the File option and select Open.
Step 3: Select the image where you want to add the arrow or text.
Step 4: Once the image loads in MS Paint, click on the arrow shape pointing in the preferred direction from the Shapes section.
Step 5: Use customization options like color, size, border, and fill style on the toolbar to customize your arrow. If you enable the fill style, select the second color option and select the desired color.

If you feel that MS Paint is a bit outdated, you should use its upgraded version, Paint 3D, to edit photos. Follow these steps to insert arrows or text in Paint 3D on Windows PC.
Step 1: Open Paint 3D application on your Windows PC.
Step 2: Click Menu.
Step 3: Click Open, then Browse files. Then select the desired image.
Step 4: When the image opens in the editor, click the 2D Shapes button on the top toolbar.
Step 5: Click the shape icon in the right sidebar to see the available shapes. Select Arrow from the list.
