Willie Spence Funeral: When Is Willie Spence Funeral?: Willie Spence was an American singer and performing artist born on June 18, 1999, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He developed for music at a very younger age and was consistent throughout his short career until his unfortunate demise.

During his time at high school, Spence posted online several videos of him singing, and went viral on YouTube in 2017 when he posted a video singing Rihanna’s song ‘Diamonds’.

He attracted significant attention after the video went viral and went ahead to make appearances on several television shows, including the talk show Steve, hosted by Steve Harvey.

In 2021, at the age of 22, Spence auditioned for season 19 of American Idol. His performances received a positive reception from the judges and placed second only behind Chayce Beckham.

Unfortunately, Willie Spence died in a car crash on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 23 years old. His death was reported by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Confirmed reports say that Spence was driving a Jeep Cherokee when he veered off and his vehicle struck another car.

Spence is the fifth American Idol finalist to die after Michael Johns in 2014, Rickey Smith in 2016, Leah LaBelle in 2018, and Nikki McKibbin in 2020.

In February 2023, Willie Spence made headlines when on Sunday, February 19 during auditions, Kye Monee, a contestant paid tribute to her one-time singing partner, Willie Spence.

Kye Monee who happens to be a former American Idol contestant stated that before Spence passed away, he encouraged her to come back and give “Idol” another try.

Monee’ advanced to the next round of the competition. “Willie, thank you for not letting me give up. This is for you,” she said.
