Will UFC 5 have crossplay or cross-platform progression?

UFC 5 is on the horizon, with the release date only just being announced, and what we are all desperate to know is whether or not the game will support crossplay or cross-platform progression.

The game is set to arrive very soon after taking a three-year break from the last game. Since then, we have received a new console generation and crossplay has become a much bigger part of gaming. When UFC 4 was released, crossplay wasn’t anywhere, however since then it has become a mainstay of many games.

Here is all you need to know about crossplay and cross-platform progression in UFC 5.

Unfortunately, no, UFC will not support crossplay. When we spoke to some of the team working on the game, they informed us this was one of the features they would have loved to include, but unfortunately, it had to be left on the cutting room floor, to focus on other features. If you would love to hear even more from the developers, you can check out our full interview here.

Although we don’t know for certain, it seems incredibly unlikely this feature will be included in UFC 5. EA Sports games have only included this in the past when upgrading a console to a different generation.

Considering UFC 5 is only being released on one console generation, we aren’t expecting the popular MMA game to include the feature.
