Who is David Bromstad?
Born on August 17, 1973 in Cokato, Minnesota in the United States. David was interested in arts and design at a young age. His parents are; Diane Marlys Bromstad, Richard Harold David Bromstad. He had his college degree at Ringling College of Art and Design, Sarasota, Florida. In 2006, a close friend convinced him to move to Miami and join HGTV’s art and design show and stand a chance of airing his own show. He indeed went and was joined by nine others. In 2006, he became the winner of the debut season of HGTV Design Star. He has hosted a number of HGTV shows, including Color Splash, Beach Flip and My Lottery Dream Home.
Bromstad’s rise to fame came after his has won the maiden show and received the grand prize. He started hosting the show and having his own influence in and outside the show. He hosted Color Splash on HGTV from 2007 to 2012. In 2015, David hosted his own program, ‘My Lottery Dream Home’. All of David’s work has been on HGTV and he has made quite the impression in the hearts and minds of arts lovers. He is addicted inking his body.
