Who Is Brandon Hunter Daughter?: Former American professional basketball player Brandon Hunter has reportedly died.
Hunter was selected as a second-round draft choice (56th overall) by the Boston Celtics in the 2003 NBA draft.
He went ahead to have stints with a number of teams including; Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New Jersey Nets.
Brandon Hunter passed away at 42 on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. His death was announced by his former coach, Jeff Boals of the Ohio Bobcats but didn’t mention the cause of death.
Hunter was the owner of a company named, Hunter Athletes Management, which focused on sports management, and a certified FIBA agent.
He spent 4 years in the NCAA (1999-2003) with the Bobcats, leading the NCAA in rebounding in 2003. He moved to the NBA in 2003 as the No. 56 pick of the draft but stayed there only 2 years.
Hunter made a total of 67 appearances with the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic. Despite his short stint in the NBA, he was loved among NBA fans as well as his former teams, the Magic and Celtics.
Orlando paid tribute to its former player on X; “We are terribly saddened to learn of the loss of our former teammate, Brandon Hunter. We send our deepest condolences to the entire Hunter family”
His former college coach at Ohio, Jeff Boals also paid tribute: “Sad day for Bobcat Nation. Brandon Hunter, Gone way too soon. One of the best to ever put on the green and white”
T.J Ford, a former NBA guard, also paid tribute to his friend on social media: “We just spoke last week. Losing a lot of my friends lately”
