Who Are DJ Envy Parents?: DJ Envy, officially known as RaaShaun Casey is an American disc jockey, record producer, and radio personality.

Born in New York, DJ Envy is one of the two hosts of the syndicated radio show; The Breakfast Club, alongside Charlamagne tha God, on Power 105.1.

With a career spanning over two decades, DJ Envy has made a name for himself as a talented DJ, radio host, and entrepreneur.

His journey from the streets of Queens, New York, to becoming a respected and influential personality in the music industry is a testament to his passion and dedication.

Who Are DJ Envy Parents?

DJ Envy was born to his parents in Queens, New York. His mother has been identified as Janet Casey but his father’s identity is currently unknown. And although he’s famous, there’s also no information regarding his parents as their name, date of birth, age, and occupation are unknown to us as of this writing.

Formerly called DJ Shrimp, DJ Envy began his career playing at local events and parties, steadily gaining recognition for his skills behind the turntables.

He was then tutored and mentored by DJ Clue, who introduced him to the mixtape circuit in the mid-1990s and also assisted in his DJ career.

DJ Envy became known in the mixtape circuit, releasing a series of successful mixtapes that showcased his exceptional talent for blending and scratching tracks.

By the early 2000s, DJ Envy was hosting commercials and exclusives for other established artists including; Hahflamez, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and The Lox.

He eventually signed to DJ Clue’s record label Desert Storm and in 2003, he released his debut studio album; The Desert Storm Mixtape: Blok Party, Vol. 1.

DJ Envy became known on radio as a DJ for Hot 97 show, “Takin it to the Streets”, hosted by Angie Martinez but later filled in when the latter became pregnant

He then co-hosted Hot 97’s morning show with Miss Jones but his run on the morning show ended in July 2008 when Miss Jones moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

DJ Envy hosted his mix shows on Hot 97 called “The People’s Mix” on Saturdays (12 pm-2 pm) and “The People’s Choice Hit List” on Sundays (5 pm-8 pm).

As a car enthusiast, DJ Envy is the founder and curator of the Drive Your Dreams Car Show auto show, which was first held on November 3, 2018.

The second annual event took place On September 7, 2019, at the same venue (at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey)
