His commitment to coaching continued as he took on the roles of defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Eufaula High School in Eufaula, Alabama, from 2000 to 2001.
Kelly’s venture into college coaching began as a graduate assistant at Auburn University in 1993. His trajectory includes coaching positions at Jacksonville State University, Henderson State University, Nicholls State University, and Georgia Tech, where he contributed significantly to various aspects of the game.
