Robyn Bernard died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office in a press release on Wednesday, March 13, the actress was found dead in an “open field behind a business” in San Jacinto, California, where she lived.

Officials responded to a death investigation call on Tuesday, and Robyn was identified using her fingerprints. As of this writing, authorities are investigating and did not provide details of her death.

Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Robyn started acting in 1981 in the French thriller “Diva”

In 1984, Bernard landed the recurring role of Terry Brock on General Hospital. She appeared in 145 episodes from 1984 to 1990.

On the show, she played an aspiring singer who develops a drinking problem, marries and then accidentally kills her husband in self-defense. She’s framed for two murders, and eventually leaves town when she gets a record deal.

Bernard acted sporadically through the ’90s, and last appeared in the film “Voices from the High School” in 2002 where she played a psychologist.

Following her demise, General Hospital fans paid tribute on social media. One fan on Facebook said: “It has been a rough year for General Hospital. RIP.”

“So young. Her sister Crystal was also an actress and singer,” added another.

A third wrote: “Robyn Bernard who played Bobbie’s stepdaughter, Terry Brock, has passed away at age 64,” with a crying emoji.

“She was the life of the #GH party. Rest in Peace, Robyn Bernard,” commented a superfan.

A fifth on X (Twitter), said: “RIP #RobynBernard, who played #Terry back in the day 84-90. I remember her character very well & the O Connell brothers.
