The current storyline in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 requires you use War Machine weapons before returning to Captain Jones to talk about the next steps in his plan.
With no map marker, he can be hard to locate, so here’s a breakdown of how to find and talk to him.
Captain Jones location
Captain Jones is next to a building off the road between the Nitrodome and The Raft points of interest. I’ve marked the exact location on the map below.

He’ll be out the front on the pavement, so no extra searching is required once you land nearby or pull up in a vehicle.
How to talk to Captain Jones
Once you locate Captain Jones, just head up to him and hit your platform’s interact button to start the conversation.
You’ll need to confirm a couple of times to get through all the dialogue, and then the final stage of this quest will be complete, rewarding you 20,000 XP.
There is unlikely to be too many enemies around here as it’s not a popular landing spot or location for looting, but be aware of other players looking to finish this quest too.
I’d recommend landing at a nearby POI to get your loot and then make your way over, just in case you run into someone.
