Warzone’s Plunder game mode got replaced with Lockdown as a part of the weekly Playlist update on January 4, 2024. The game mode is no longer available to play in Warzone, and instead, we have the Lockdown mode that pits 36 players in the Vondel map, where the main objective is to capture and hold zones.

Unlike the traditional battle royale, the Lockdown mode resembles the Hardpoint game mode. That being said, while we know Plunder game mode is one of the best modes in Warzone that many players like, until it comes back with another Playlist update, we recommend grinding the Lockdown mode, especially for new players, as it is perfect for quickly levelling up weapons and account level.
