As a highly competitive esports title, VALORANT requires a fair amount of patches to keep things as balanced as they can be at all times – especially when you’re always adding new Agents into the mix.

When is the next VALORANT update?
The next VALORANT update will drop on January 8, 2024.
This will be the 8.0 patch, and it’s confirmed to feature lots of changes to the Lotus map, while also introducing Episode 8 Act 1.
Currently, this is the only patch for 2024 we know of, but we do have an archive of the 2023 patches below, so you can get an idea of when patches may be released this year.
