THE FINALS Season 2 is just around the corner, and while we do know the release date, we don’t yet know too much about what new features and content are coming to the game.
There have been rumours and speculation but so far, not many concrete details. To that end, here is everything we know so far about Season 2 of THE FINALS and what we can expect from it.
Season 2 release date
One thing we can say for certain is that THE FINALS Season 2 will be available on March 12, 2024.
This we know, as that is also the date that Season 1 ends. Unless, for some reason, there is a delay in the change between seasons, it seems safe to say that the new season will kick off just as the current season ends.
This means we should have less than a week to wait (at the time of writing) until the new season kicks off, and also that you have less than a week to finish off your Season 1 battle pass if you haven’t done so already.
Season 2 possible content

This is where we have to start being a little vague, as specific details have not yet been unveiled. There are some things we can say for certain based on Season 1, meaning a new battle pass, and events throughout the season that will add new items, like the Christmas and Valentine’s Day events we saw during the first season.
The contents of the new battle pass and any other specific details about Season 2 are pure speculation right now, but as you can imagine that hasn’t deterred the fan base from speculating. One of the prevailing theories about Season 2 is that a new map might be added to the rotation.
Currently, THE FINALS only has four maps, and although the dynamic nature of the game doesn’t require many maps to keep things fresh, four isn’t a lot by any stretch. Fans have been digging into pre-release material and trailers looking for clues, and some have come to the conclusion that a new map set in Japan might be on the way.
Early test footage of the game shows a location that appears to be a Japanese city. Further, early trailers have shown off some Japanese-themed cosmetic items, like samurai armour and katanas. We can’t say for sure that any of this will surface in Season 2, but they are the strongest leads we have to future content coming to the game.
