Currently, the rarest pet in Adopt Me is the Monkey King, so you’re in luck if you have this pet in your possession.
Inspired by the legendary Sun Wukong figure, the Monkey King was part of the Monkey Fairground event which has since ended.
It was already incredibly difficult to pick up during the event due to the low drop rate for the required crafting items, but now it is only able to be obtained through a trade.

The value of the Monkey King in Adopt Me is roughly around that of the Gold Snowboard, and slightly more than the Premium Monkey Box. This makes it one of the most valuable items in the game, which is no surprise considering its rarity.
The Monkey King is rated as a Legendary item, but the scarcity of its crafting materials, and the fact that you cannot even craft it any more makes it an incredibly rare pet.
During the Monkey Fairground event, you would have to spend at least 585 Robux to get a chance to craft it, but each of the staff ingredients had a drop rate lower than 5% so you could be there a while.
