Ja’Marr Chase, a rookie wide receiver, eventually shattered the mark the next year with 81 catches. He finished third among all rookie receivers in 2020 in terms of receiving yards with 908, trailing only CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson.

In the 23-20 loss, Higgins finished the game with four receptions for 100 yards, the highest receiving yards of any player on either team.

Higgins caught two passes for a total of 27 yards in Week 1’s matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers before suffering a concussion and leaving the game in the second quarter. Higgins has 7 receptions for 124 yards and a score in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.
