Moore was born to Timika Hastie and Roger Moore. He shares the same parents as his two siblings; his sister, Layke Moore, and his brother, Landyn Moore.
In New Kensington, Pennsylvania’s Valley High School, Moore started his high school career. At Shady Side Academy in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, he later completed his studies.
In high school, he was a quarterback and a defensive back. He agreed to play collegiate football at Western Michigan University.
He currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Western Michigan.
Skyy Moore career
Moore was converted into a wide receiver in college despite never playing the position before. He has 53 catches for 802 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman in 2019, starting 12 of the 13 contests.
He participated in five games as a sophomore in 2020, amassing 25 catches for 388 yards and three touchdowns. In 2021, he came back as a starter.
With four touchdown catches against Northern Illinois, he tied a school record. Following the season, Moore announced his intent to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.

Moore was chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft (54th overall).As a rookie, Moore played in 16 games, three of which he started. In total, he caught 22 passes for 250 receiving yards.
Moore’s 29-yard punt return in the final minute of the AFC Championship Game against the Cincinnati Bengals helped set up Harrison Butker’s game-winning 45-yard range goal to give the Chiefs a 23-20 victory and advance them to Super Bowl LVII. Moore’s return was just three yards short of midfield.
Moore’s first touchdown of his professional career came in the fourth quarter of the Chiefs’ 38-35 triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.
