Reports have it that Sherrilyn Ifill’s decision to become a Civil Rights Lawyer was partly influenced by a situation in her neighborhood when a young boy her age around 10 years was shot and killed by the New York City police and his parents were mourning his death at the bus stop when he was on her way to school and we can only imagine how that incident shaped her life.
