Does Sam Eggington have any children?

Sam Eggington is believed to be a father of three children; a daughter and two sons. The names of his children are not known to us at the moment but he has consistently flaunted them on his social media pages while sharing a family time.

Sam Eggington career

Abass Baraou defeated Sam Eggington in a match that was, understandably, gritty and thrilling, winning the European super welterweight title by majority decision in Telford.

Much of the battle happened in the pocket, as usual for Eggington (34-9, 20 KO), with both fighters throwing extended blows forehead-to-forehead.

Baraou (15-1, 9 KO) just outclassed him on technique and power, driving Eggington to the ropes and connecting with harder punches as Eggington continuously produced volume.

Eggington appeared to be inches from victory on several occasions, reeling across the ring as Baraou hammered home clean bomb after clean bomb, but “The Savage” consistently succeeded in starting the engine and launching his own broadsides.

Watching their post-clapper conversations in the last moments of every round was amazing. Baraou had two scorecards that read 117-111 and 117-112, while Denmark’s Freddy Rafn had a very dubious 114-114. Although my focus was diverted, I believe the Baraou scores are reasonable.

Because it was a good scrap and an easy FOTYOTW, it is even more puzzling that Wasserman Boxing’s and DAZN Boxing’s Twitter feeds chose not to post highlights. At least this gentle soul cut short the last exchange.

For Baraou, the victory is a much-needed wake-up call after his career faltered following a dubious decision loss to Jack in 2020. Additionally, the WBA changed the fight at the last minute to an eliminator, which puts him in contention for a title opportunity.

Although Jermell Charlo is currently listed as the champion on the WBA website, new reports suggest that Magomed Kurbanov and Israil Madrimov will compete for the full “super” title next week rather than the secondary “world” crown.
