MW3 and Warzone are no stranger to crossovers, and the latest one, Dune: Rule of Fate might sound familiar. This isn’t the first time Dune has appeared in Call of Duty, and who knows, it might not be the last, either!
Without further ado, let’s break down the game’s brand-new crossover event.
When does Dune: Rune of Fate start & end?
The Dune: Rule of Fate Event kicks off in MW3 and Warzone on March 6, 2024, the same day as the Season 2 Reloaded Mid-Season Update.
You’ll have a week to claim all the rewards, as it’s scheduled to end on March 13, 2024, leading the way for another in-game event, Warhammer 40,000: For the Emperor!
How to earn rewards

This event follows the same formula as other recent in-game events like The Walking Dead: Fear the Living Event, whereby instead of completing a list of challenges, all you need is to play Multiplayer or Warzone and earn XP. As you get XP, you’ll progressively unlock Dune-themed cosmetics to use in MW3 and Warzone!
Select playlists like Small Map Mosh Pit or Meat 24/7 in Multiplayer or Resurgence in Warzone are ripe for earning XP, but if you play enough, you can collect all the rewards naturally without needing to optimise it.
To boost XP gains while the event is live, you can equip the Harkonnen Hunter Operator Skin from the Tracer Pack: Dune Part Two – Harkonnen Pack – available in the in-game Store for COD Points.
What rewards are in MW3 & Warzone x Dune: Rule of Fate?
Below is a list of all the rewards you can earn by participating and accumulating XP in the Dune: Rule of Fate Event:
- Emperor’s Arrival Weapon Sticker
- Deep Desert Large Decal
- Imperial Tent Large Decal
- The Emperor’s Blade Weapon Charm
- House Corrino Emblem
- The Calculus of Power Calling Card
- Imperial Shield Weapon Camo
