Rosalia parents-Spanish singer and songwriter, Rosalia Vila Tobella was born on September 25th, 1992 in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Catolonia.
She attended the Taller de Msics to start her musical training. She attended the academy for a six-year program. She started going to the school in Raval and then switched to the Superior School of Music of Catalonia.
She also self-employedly performed as a soloist at weddings and music venues, receiving “a little over 80 euros or in exchange for dinner” for her services.
She auditioned for the television program T S Que Vales at the age of 15, but she was not chosen. After “intense singing practices” caused her to damage one of her vocal cords at age 17, she needed vocal cord surgery and was unable to sing for a year.
She joined the flamenco music ensemble Kejaleo in 2012, which also includes Jordi Franco, Roger Blavia, Cristo Fontecilla, Diego Cortés, and Xavi Turull as vocalists.
In 2013, they issued the album Alaire. They included their own self-released song “Un Millón de Veces” on the charity album Tres Guitarras Para el Autismo. She was a flamenco instructor and vocal coach at the age of 20.
In 2016, Rosala worked on the song “Antes de Morirme” with her ex-boyfriend and Spanish rapper C. Tangana. After the popularity of Rosala’s more recent material, the song became a sleeper hit and debuted on the Spanish Singles Chart in 2018.
When the collaboration was included in the first season soundtrack of the Spanish Netflix series Élite, it attracted recognition on a global scale.

Los Angeles, a cover album she co-wrote with Raül Refree, and El Mal Querer, her baccalaureate project, both helped her graduate with honors.
