Quavo Parents: Meet Edna Marshall: – Quavo is a popular American rapper born on Tuesday, April 2, 1991, in Athens, Georgia, United States.

He’s best known as the co-founder and former frontman of hip hop group Migos. Quavo is the uncle of fellow Migos member Takeoff and cousin of Offset. He is also a partial owner of the FCF Glacier Boyz.

The award-winning rap artiste was born to Edna Marshall (mother) but details of his father aren’t known. In 2008, Quavo formed the rap group Migos with his nephew Takeoff and cousin Offset.

They were originally called Polo Club but later adopted the name Migos, which they said in 2013 is a reference to the “hub of drugs” from the part of Georgia they grew up in.

Edna Marshall is Quavo’s mother. She was Friday, 2 October 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of 82, she passed away on March 30, 2019.

There’s not much information about her but all three members of Migos were raised together in the same house growing up. Quavo’s mother, Edna Marshall was the main mother figure for all of them, and they all call her “mama”.

In the early hours of Tuesday, November 1, 2022 Takeoff was tragically shot and killed whilst reportedly playing a game of dice at a Houston bowling alley. Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was just 28 years old at the time of his death. Quavo was with him when he died.
