Pokemon GO Harvest Festival Collection Challenges & Field Research tasks

The Pokemon GO Harvest Festival has begun, meaning players will want to know about the Collection Challenges, the Field Research Tasks, and their rewards. Like the Pokemon GO Detective Pikachu Returns Collection Challenge & Field Research tasks, the Harvest Festival has plenty of rewards like ‘mon encounters and more to celebrate the changing of seasons in the game.

You’ll have to complete these by a certain date, but what you can get for putting in the playtime by the deadline should be well worth it.

So, let’s head into all the Pokemon GO Harvest Festival Collection Challenges & Field Research tasks, along with all the rewards you can get.

Pokemon GO Harvest Festival Collection Challenges & rewards

Harvest Festival Collection Challenge: Pumpkaboo

For the first of the Pokemon GO Harvest Festival Collection Challenges, you’ll need to catch and evolve the following Pokemon of various sizes to earn its Challenge rewards:

  • Pumpkaboo (Small)
  • Pumpkabo (Average)
  • Pumpkaboo (Large)
  • Pumpkaboo (Super)
  • Gourgeist (Small)
  • Gourgeist (Average)
  • Gourgeist (Large)
  • Gourgeist (Super)

Remember that a Gourgeist must be evolved from a Pumpkaboo of the same size.

As you complete this Pumpkaboo challenge, you’ll receive 5000 XP, Stardust x2500, and a Mossy Lure. Module as your reward.

Harvest Festival Collection Challenge: Smoliv

For the second Pokemon GO Harvest Festival Collection Challenge, you need to catch and evolve the following Pokemon:

  • Smoliv
  • Dolliv, which must be evolved from Smoliv
  • Arboliva, which also must evolve from Arboliva

As you complete this Smoliv challenge, you’ll also receive 5000 XP, Stardust x2500, and a Mossy Lure. Module as your reward.

Out of the Collection Challenges, I would say Smoliv’s is the easiest – only needing to catch and evolve three Pokemon rather than the Pumpkaboo Challenge’s eight. Nevertheless, the extra XP and Stardust for doing them both will still be invaluable.
