Playing XI of Pakistan | T20 World Cup 2022

Pakistan by tradition has been an unpredictable cricketing side who has the ability to beat any opposition on their day. This time around with skipper Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan in prime form, they have the quality to lift the World Cup.

Pakistan had a decent Asia Cup and are looking good enough in all the departments barring their middle order batting. The return of Shaheen Shah Afridi besides young pace gun Naseem Shah & Haris Rauf forms a dangerous bowling attack. Pakistan probably has the best pace bowling attack in the world at present.

Pakistan kick-starts their campaign against arch-rivals India on October 23 at the MCG. They also play against South Africa and Bangladesh and two other countries from the qualifying rounds.

Team Analystique predicts the expected Playing XI of Pakistan that’s going to feature in the World Cup.

World Cup Squad

Wicket Keeper: Md. Rizwan.

Batsmen: Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Shan Masood, Haider Ali, Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah.

All Rounders: Md. Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed.

Bowlers: Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Md. Hasnain, Md. Wasim Jr.

Reserves: Md. Haris, Usman Qadir, Shahnawaz Dahani.

Possible Playing XI

Openers Babar Azam and Md. Rizwan holds the key to Pakistan success in batting. The middle order looks to be out of touch with the likes of Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed & Asif Ali struggling to make a mark. Bowling is highly strengthened by the return of their star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. Haris Rauf looks to be in good form, specially at the death. The spin duo of Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz is also performing well and contributing all round.
