Paul George started his career in 2010. He made himself eligible for the 2010 NBA draft and was selected tenth overall by the Indiana Pacers where they made it to the playoffs, but they lost to the Chicago Bulls.

In 2011, the Pacers lost once again in the playoffs, this time to the Miami Heat. During the 2012-2013 season, Paul had been shifted from shooting guard to small forward.
