Who are Pankaj Udhas’ parents?
Pankaj Udhas was born to Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas. He shared the same parents with his two elder brothers; Manhar Udhas and Nirmal Udhas.
Keshubhai Udhas, his father, was employed by the government and learned how to play the dilruba from the famous veena player Abdul Karim Khan. As of the time of filing this report, we have no further details about their personal lives at the moment.
Pankaj Udhas career
A melody named Chandi Jaisa Pankaj Udhas sang the song Rang hai tera, sone jaise bal, which translates to “Your color is like silver, your hair is like gold.” Manhar Udhas, the older brother of Pankaj Udhas, was a theatrical actor who helped Pankaj get his start in music.
When he sang “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo” on stage for the first time during the Sino-Indian War, an audience member gave him Rs. 51 as payment.

Udhas was given another chance to act in a movie in 1986 the movie Naam, which helped make him famous. He performed the beautiful duet “Mahiya Teri Kasam” with Lata Mangeshkar for the Ghayal film in 1990.
This song became incredibly well-known. Together with Sadhana Sargam, Udhas performed the well-known song “Na Kajre Ki Dhar” from the 1994 movie Mohra, which also saw great success.
He kept up his career as a playback singer, appearing in movies like Saajan, Yeh Dillagi, Naam, and Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayee.
In December 1987, Music India released his album Shagufta, which was the country’s first compact disk release.
Subsequently, Udhas launched Aadab Aarz Hai, a talent hunt show on Sony Entertainment Television. John Abraham, an actor, refers to Udhas as his guru. Udhas’s ghazals discuss sharab, love, and inebriation.
