She developed a love for music at a very younger age and has been consistent throughout her career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after female vocalists.

Olivia Theresa Longott studied music at Bayside High School, in Queens and at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York before embarking on her professional career as a musician.

She was discovered by legendary music mogul Clive Davies in the early 2000s and hence became the first artist signed to Clive Davis’ J Records.

Her self-titled debut album ‘Olivia’ was released in 2001 and ‘Bizounce,’ a single off the album peaked at number 15 on the charts with the album debuting at number 55 on the Billboard 200.

Following the success of his first album, she was signed to G-Unit from 2004 to 2007 and became a household name for her vocal performance on 50 Cent’s smash hit single Candy Shop.

Olivia Theresa Longott went ahead to release several singles including ‘So Sexy’ and ‘Twist It’, among other songs until in 2007, it was announced Olivia and G-Unit Records had parted ways.

Her second studio album Behind Closed Doors was shelved but leaked a year later on several mixtape websites.

In 2009, she featured on Congolese singer, Fally Ipupa’s song ‘Chaise Électrique’ which went ahead top several African music charts.

Olivia Theresa Longott declined a record deal from label EMI and in April 2012, signed a deal with Jerry Wonda’s Wonda Music.
