Nigel Harman Education: Nigel Harman, officially known as Nigel Derek Harman is an English TV, film, and theatre actor and director.

He developed a passion for acting at a younger age. At age 8, he started working on multiple TV series, theatre shows, and the odd movie.

Harman has been consistent throughout his career and has risen to become one of the most sought-after actors.

He became a household name following his role as Dennis Rickman in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

His role as Dennis Rickman won him multiple awards, including Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards

Harman played the role of Bradley Dawson in Sky One’s Mount Pleasant from 2013 until the series ended in 2017.

He has worked mostly in theatre and also starred in the final series of Hotel Babylon playing new owner Sam Franklin.

From January to February 2017, he starred in the French comedy What’s in a Name? at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

Harman played Sir Charles Surface in The School for Scandal at the Theatre Royal, Bath, and Lord Farquaad in the West End production of Shrek the Musical, at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane

He also played the lead as Robert Langdon in the stage adaptation tour of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code. The tour opened in January 2022 in Bromley.

Harman also landed several television and film roles including; Blood Diamond, City of Vice, Lark Rise to Candleford, Telstar, Downton Abbey, and Mount Pleasant.

His other television and film credit includes; Tenko, The Honey Siege, The Bill, Coupling, Red Carp, Doctors, R.I.P. TV, and The Outsiders, among others.

In February 2023, Harman joined the cast of Casualty as Dr. Max Cristie, the new clinical lead of the emergency department, making his debut that same month.

In August 2023, he hit the headlines after it was announced that he would appear as a contestant on the twenty-first series of Strictly Come Dancing.

His appearance makes him the thirteenth celebrity contestant confirmed for the brand new series of Strictly Come Dancing 2023.
