While existing players can purchase the New World: Rise of the Angry Earth expansion for the price of $29.99 – new players can grab both the base game and expansion as part of the New World: Elysian Edition bundle for $69.99.

The story of the New World: Rise of the Angry Earth expansion focuses on the southeastern tip of Aeternum, formerly known as First Light, which has Fallen. Even though it was once a welcoming land to Aeternum newcomers, its fields have now been ravaged by Artemis and the Angry Earth’s fury.
Whilst the whereabouts of the people and villages are unknown, a deadly barrier has prevented anyone from venturing in to find out. However, along with the abundance of earthly powers awakening the mighty Beast Lord, a potential new foe for Aeternum, has come a boon with the secret of how to tame and ride animals.
New mounts & weapon in New World: Rise of the Angry Earth

Combining with an increased level cap to 65, a new gear rarity, a transformed Zone, a new end-game Expedition, and Heartrune ability, the biggest new gameplay feature in the New World: Rise of the Angry Earth expansion is the ability to summon mounts; horses, dire wolves, lions; all with a unique look and dyeable equipment that can be set to make each your very own.
The other big addition in Rise of the Angry Earth is New World’s new weapon: the Flail. A versatile one-hand weapon with the option for an offhand shield, the Flail brings with it a combination of melee, arcane, magic and strong defence potential – enhancing your group’s effectiveness without sacrificing offence.
