Grand Theft Auto Online continues to maintain a large and ardent player base, so new content coming to the game, big or small, is bound to keep players engaged with new ways to play. So when it comes to a weekly update, you can expect quite a few tweaks and changes.
So, we’re here to detail all the updates coming this week in the game, from the vehicles you can expect to buy, to the sweet deals that will help you get ahead.
GTA Online weekly update release time (August 2023)

The GTA Online weekly update goes live every Thursday at 4am ET/9am BST. So, the next update you can expect to see will be on August 17, 2023.
Until then, we’ll bring you the latest updates to the game, added on August 10, 2023.
Bonus activities in GTA Online (August 2023)

Players can expect several new missions and contracts in GTA Online’s weekly update, each with their own set of rewards and bonuses to help them get ahead in the game.
This week, you can expect to see the following activities:

Modes added to GTA Online (August 2023)

The Assault on Cayo Perico mode is a heist added to GTA Online that has gone on to become one of the game’s best-paying. Dividing players into two groups, the teams will have to complete specific objectives to win the match.
Split between Attacks and Defenders, the Attackers must hack a set of radars on the map, while the Defenders must prevent them from doing so.
New vehicles added to GTA Online (August 2023)

It wouldn’t be GTA Online without a new vehicle or two. While some are just your standard bikes, cars and more, others have pride of place on the podium and will be a spotlight item for the week.
Simeon’s Auto Shop
- Declasse Walton L35 (Off-Road)
- HVY Insurgent (Off-Road)
- HVY Nightshark (Off-Road)
- Mammoth Squaddie (SUV)
- Pegassi Zorrusso (Super)
Podium Vehicle
Some vehicles also get added to the Luxury Autos Showroom. This week, it is the Pegassi Torero, a sports car. Players can win this car by placing in the top 5 in the LS Car Meet Series over three consecutive days.
Diamond Casino Rewards in GTA Online (August 2023)

It isn’t just the garages that are getting some updates, but also the rewards in the Diamond Casino as well. This week the rewards are:
- Clothing
- GTA$
- Nagasaki Outlaw
- RP
While these will be your typical rewards, the occasional vehicle may be thrown in there as well.
