The DY Patil Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for the chasing teams. Dew plays a big factor in this venue and the team winning the toss gets a huge advantage. The pitch is a fresh one and is expected to be much better to bat especially in the second inning. If dew settles in the latter half of the match, batting would ease out even more in the second inning, and the team defending a score must have those extra 10-15 runs.

KKR: The team combination is working absolutely fine for KKR as they have won their opening match in the tournament quite comprehensively. The batting department looks pretty settled with Rahane & both the Iyers doing the job up front and then followed by Nitish Rana and Dre Russ in the middle. Bowling also looks fine with the pair of Narine & Varun slowly getting into the groove. The pair of mystery spinners is their major strength in the bowling department. The extra pace of Umesh Yadav is also working well for the KKR.
