She’s an American rapper and songwriter. She adopted the stage name ‘Megan Thee Stallion’ because she was called a ‘stallion’ during her adolescence due to her height (1.78 m) and ‘thick’ body frame.
Megan Thee Stallion first gained attention when videos of her freestyling became popular on social media platforms such as Instagram. While she was a student at Prairie View A&M University, she began uploading videos of herself freestyling on social media.

On Friday, December 23, 2022, her ex-boyfriend, Tory Lanez was found guilty by a Los Angeles jury shooting her in both of her feet following an argument about their romantic entanglements and respective careers in the summer of 2020.
Tory Lanez was convicted of 3 felony counts: assault with a semiautomatic handgun, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He faces more than 20 years in prison and could be deported.

Her mother, Holly was a bill collector turned rapper, who went by the stage name Holly-Wood while her father, Joseph was a full-time hustler’ according to Megan, he missed the first eight years of her life while serving time behind bars on weapons charges.
