Martin Brodeur is a Canadian–American former professional ice hockey goaltender, current team executive and a businessman. He was selected 20th overall pick by the New Jersey Devils in the 1990 NHL draft, and went on to spend 21 out of 22 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He has one season with the St. Louis Blues before he announced his retirement. Over the course of his illustrious career, Brodeur won numerous awards and accolades, including three Stanley Cup championships, five Eastern Conference championships, and two Olympic gold medals with Team Canada. With several NHL and franchise records among fellow goaltenders, he was named by the league as one of the “100 Greatest NHL Players” as well as being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

During his time with Oshawa Generals, Brodeur averaged a 2.78 goals-against and .904 save percentage. He became the franchise’s all-time leader in shutouts, as well as winning the OHL Championship and Memorial Cup in 2014–15.

After playing in prospect camps for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Dallas Stars as well as having a professional try out with the New York Rangers, he signed for the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL at the end of the 2016-17 season.

A year later, he signed with the Allen Americans in the ECHL, but was waived off by the Norfolk Admirals during the 2018–19 season. In 2019, Brodeur signed with the Atlanta Gladiators, later joining the Peoria Rivermen of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
