Jack Byrne is the 21-year-old son of Irishman Gabriel Byrne and American actress Ellen Barkin. Jack Byrne is a member and co-founder of The Dough Rollers, a blues band, founded last summer while on tour with Bob Dylan.
As a young boy and teenager, Jack frequently traveled to Ireland with his father. But when he was just 12 years old, he switched his focus from Irish music to the blues after receiving a book about the genre from a family member that included 10 key blues records.
