Matty Healy net worth-English singer and songwriter, Matthew Timothy Healy was born on April 8th, 1989 in Hendon, England.
When he was nine ye ars old, he relocated from Newcastle upon Tyne to Cheshire. Prior to being expelled from his private school for inciting fights, he attended Wilmslow High School, where he eventually dropped out with only three GCSEs.

Healy joined together with lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, drummer and producer George Daniel, all of whom he had known from Wilmslow High School, to form The1975 in 2002.
Initially the drummer, he was elevated to frontman following Elliott Williams’ departure.
Before releasing the albums The 1975 (2013), I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It (2016), A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships (2018), Notes on a Conditional Form (2020), and Being Funny in a Foreign Language (2022), all of which peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart, they released four extended plays: Facedown in August 2012, Sex in November 2012, Music for Cars in March 2013, and IV in May 2013.
The 1975’s George Daniel and Healy collaborated to produce No Rome’s RIP Indo Hisashi EP, which was made available in August 2018.
He and Daniel produced the solo EP Our Extended Play by Beabadoobee in 2021, which was made available in March of that year.
Healy served as Phoebe Bridgers’ opener for her Reunion Tour in October 2021 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
He played two brand-new songs, including “New York”. “Pictures of Us” and “You’re Here That’s the Thing,” two songs written by Healy, were on Beabadoobee’s album Beatopia.
Healy frequently makes headlines and stirs up controversy. When he called the idea of dating Taylor Swift a “de-masculinating, emasculating thing” in an interview in March 2016, he was accused of being misogynistic.
The interviewer defended him on that occasion, and in November 2016, he told The Guardian that his concerns stemmed from his desire to avoid two allegedly huge egos clashing and him coming off as the underdog.
After claiming that “misogyny doesn’t happen in rock and roll anymore is because it’s a vocabulary that existed for so long that it got weeded out” in December 2018, Healy later issued an apology.
